James Beard Foundation Award-winning Restaurateur Ellen Yin’s Philadelphia-based High Street Hospitality Group expanded to Washington, D.C. in partnership with AKA debuting their acclaimed a.kitchen+bar concept in September 2024 in the new Hotel AKA Washington Circle.
The respected team, which has garnered recognition from Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, a 2024 semifinalist nomination from the James Beard Foundation Awards for “Outstanding Wine and Other Beverages Program, and, most recently, one of The New York Times Best Restaurants in Philadelphia, has designed menus spanning seasonal, American small plates, a robust list of organically farmed wines, and inventive craft cocktails. A.kitchen+bar DC welcomes guests to their newly transformed garden-level space that is full of natural light and reflects the use of sustainable materials.

SERVICE CHARGE
a.kitchen + bar dc adds a 20% service charge to all checks to ensure a livable wage for hourly team members. A portion supports front-of-house team members, but the service charge also supports hourly culinary team members who we believe equally contribute to the overall dining experience. Tips for excellent service are appreciated, though not expected, and distributed to the entire front-of-house team.

We are a cash-free facility and only accept payment via credit or debit. Therefore, please plan accordingly before your visit.
PARKING
Valet Parking is available through Hotel AKA Washington Circle. Restaurant guests receive discounted pricing: $10 for visits under two hours, and $20 for visits between two and four hours.
